This masterclass lead by artist Amina Agueznay will take participants on a journey through the visual culture and the tactile significance of the woven thread.

Drawing upon decades of knowledge, this workshop in weaving with wool puts participants and the artist together to share stories, cultural traditions, and the tactile process of creating a textile work. The product of this workshop will be a multi-technique, textile work—hand crafted by all participants. This piece, woven with the shared stories of many people, will be displayed in the Masaha space for the duration of The Art Library exhibition.
