Screen-print your own artist book
A new micro-residency welcomes six emerging artists to spend one-month at Misk Art Institute’s silkscreen printing studio in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to develop and produce a limited-edition Artbook. Residents will be provided with precious time, space, tools, and screen printing and bookbinding expertise throughout their journey.
The micro-residency is designed to support artists to utilize our latest Kippax screen printing equipment to produce a series of prints in the form of an artist book. Graphic designers are available to assist residents with design layouts based on artworks they have already produced alongside written entries.
Outcome
- Each resident will be expected to produce a limited-edition Artbook.
Who can apply?
- Emerging and mid-career local visual artists looking to print a creative project in book format using silkscreen printing as a medium
- Artists with a minimum of 2 years of experience in visual art activities/studio practice
