This four-week micro-residency introduces participants to the full process of transforming photographic images into multi-layered silkscreen prints. Through guided workshops, technical exercises, and hands-on experimentation, participants will learn how to translate photographic files into print-ready separations, develop color layers, and refine their printing techniques across editions.
Artists will explore halftones, bitmaps, transparency, gradients, and overprinting to build complex visual compositions. By the end of the residency, each participant will produce a set of multi-color silkscreen prints on paper.
