Micro-Residency: Natural Pigment Making

Discover how nature becomes ink, and ink becomes story. 

This month-long Micro-Residency program offers participants the chance to explore the alchemy of natural materials through pigment making and screen-printing. Through mentorship, critique sessions, and masterclasses, participants will research, extract, and experiment with locally sourced materials to create their own inks— transforming nature into narrative. 

In this residency, participants will: 

1. Create pigments and inks from natural sources 
2. Conduct research through site visits and material collection 
3. Learn and apply screen-printing techniques  
4. Present their work in a final studio showcase
