Create your own animated film and screen-printed artist book
This four-week micro-residency explores movement and how it can be captured and translated through animatic imagery. Working across drawing, photography, and video, participants will develop frame-by-frame sequences that evolve into a short animated film and a hand-printed animatic artist book.
The micro-residency investigates the relationship between motion and print, encouraging participants to experiment with storytelling through image sequences and to translate time-based media into physical form using screen printing techniques.
Residents will be supported throughout the process with access to studio facilities, technical guidance, and masterclasses, culminating in a final open studio presentation of their work.
