Misk Art Institute has partnered with Casa Degli Artisti to offer Saudi artists a two-month residency in Milan, Italy. This residency supports emerging and mid-career artists by fostering creative exchange and collaboration.
Casa Degli Artisti provides workspace, curatorial and technical support, and access to a global network of artists, institutions, and collectors, helping artists advance their practice and gain exposure.
You will gain:

What we provide:
- Roundtrip flight to Milan
- Accommodation provided by Casa Degli Artisti
- Workspace studio (30 sqm for each artist in a shared open space)
- Per diem

- Living services
- Visas for Italy
- Car rental or transport outside of residency-related activities
- Shipping of artworks
Program structure:
- Individual coaching and mentoring sessions
- A workshop focused on your specific artistic interests
- Visits to artist studios, galleries, and exhibition spaces in Milan to engage with the local art scene
- Networking opportunities with other artists, curators, and professionals from Milan and beyond
- Two cultural trips in Italy and Europe
- A final open studio
Who’s it for?
Full-time emerging and mid-career Saudi contemporary artists working in the fields of visual arts (painting, drawing, sculpture, graphic art) and contemporary art (collage, assemblage, mixed-media, video art) who meet the following criteria:
- Actively practicing and engaging in the arts
- A portfolio of works and a statement describing artistic research and themes of interest
- A strong inclination towards collaboration and working within a creative community
Applicants must also be fully committed to prioritizing this two-month program, with no exceptions.
