Shape exhibition spaces through collaborative design.
Brought in partnership with the Royal College of Art.
This 5-day masterclass explores scenography as a tool for creating immersive environments and driving new artistic and social dialogue.
Beyond traditional exhibition design, scenography engages space through light, sound, architecture, objects, and movement. Participants will approach scenography as a collaborative practice, reshaping how art is presented and experienced.
The course includes lectures, workshops, and hands-on group work, where participants will collaborate with leading practitioners to explore innovative scenographic strategies. The masterclass culminates in the co-creation of a group exhibition, applying learning in a real-world context.
Artists (painting, sculpture, graphic design), architects, exhibition designers, curators, creative directors, and professionals in related spatial or artistic fields.
Artefacts can be your own creations or inspiring found materials, such as ready-mades, archival images, or found footage. Together, these items will form a collective display that serves as a source of inspiration and a foundation for debates, reflections, and creative experiments throughout the course.
