Photography Certificate Program 2025

Done in collaboration with UCLA Extension, this 4-month Photography Certificate program helps practicing photographers refine their technical and creative skills through a hybrid learning model.  

Participants will master digital image capture, editing, composition, and lighting, elevating their practice to a professional level. With online coursework, practical classes in Riyadh, and a final segment at UCLA in Los Angeles, photographers will graduate with an internationally recognized certificate! 

Course overview: 

1. Explore the core principles of digital photography, including capture, editing, composition, and lighting. 
2. Understand the technical and aesthetic processes that shape a strong photographer. 
3. Master concepts like aperture, shutter speed, depth of field, focus, ISO, and basic lighting skills. 
4. Dive into composition and digital imaging techniques, including Adobe Lightroom. 
5. Examine shifts in technology, workflow, and art, and their impact on modern photography.
