This two-day masterclass demonstrates how AI functions as a co-creative partner to develop design narratives rather than a basic technical enhancement tool. Participants will learn to use AI tools such as ChatGPT, DALL·E, and Midjourney to document their work by producing conceptual sketches, visual metaphors, project rationales, and organized portfolios.
This masterclass will explore how AI tools can be integrated into both creative production and archival practice. Beyond generating imagery, concept variants, and narrative texts, the masterclass introduces strategies for documenting, organizing, and preserving creative work digitally and physically. Participants will learn how to prompt and refine outputs, weave narratives, structure portfolios, and establish archiving workflows, backups, and preservation practices.
You’ll gain:
- Understanding of generative AI capabilities, limitations, and ethics
- Prompt design skills for visual and textual outputs
- Tools to ideate, generate variants, and refine outputs
- Methods for building narratives and structuring portfolios
- Workflows for documentation, versioning, and archiving
Who’s it for?
Artists and designers with basic to intermediate experience in AI.
Required from Participants:
Laptop or tablet capable of running design, presentation, and communication tools.
