Art Book Fair 2026

Participate in the Art Book Fair 2026, a meeting point for independent publishing and visual culture. 

Misk Art Institute invites applications for the Art Book Fair as part of Misk Art Week 2026, a platform bringing together regional and international publishers alongside the local creative community. 

The fair presents a wide range of printed matter that reflects the diversity of Arab visual culture and contemporary publishing practices. 

It highlights independent publishing, artists’ books, and experimental print production, and considers how images, archives, and narratives circulate across the region and beyond. 

Who’s it For? 

Independent and established publishers, zine makers, artists, designers, illustrators, printers, bookmakers, curators, researchers, and cultural organizations and institutions. 

Why Participate in the Art Book Fair

The fair also supports long-term connections between participants, institutions, and creative practitioners that extend beyond the event itself. 

Application Requirements 

Participants must have sufficient inventory to cover the six-day duration of the fair and be able to manage restocking or sell-outs independently. 

Minimum Requirements: 

1. Publishers / presses: a range of titles (minimum 3–4)  
2. Zine makers: at least 100 copies per zine title  
3. Artists: at least one book with 100 copies  

All submissions should demonstrate a clear editorial approach and relevance to contemporary visual culture. 

Publications must be original, and applicants must hold full rights for sale and distribution. 

Participation requirements 

1. In-person participation is required for the full duration of the fair. 
2. At least one representative must be present at the booth during all public opening hours. 
3. Participants are responsible for managing their own sales and transaction setup. 

Note 

Point-of-sale (POS) devices are not provided. Participants should arrange their own payment methods (card terminals, payment links, STC Bank, PayPal, or equivalent). 

Participation Fee:  

1. Publishers: 1,500 SAR  
2. Zines: 800 SAR
