Navigate artistic creation through transmedia and critical thinking

6:00 - 10:00 p.m.

Language: English

In partnership with PhMuseum

How can we effectively structure ideas to form a cohesive body of work, while navigating the diverse languages and media that shape the creation and dissemination of art?

In this five-day, game-changing masterclass, participants will explore the critical assessment of various media influences that impact the development of a new body of work.

Under the guidance of Giuseppe Oliverio, Director of PhMuseum, and Photographer & Designer Camilla Marrese, participants will cultivate a deeper level of critical thinking, analyze contemporary references, and acquire a methodical approach to project development from conception to dissemination.

You will:

  • Develop a transmedia and multidisciplinary approach to artistic practice

  • Expand critical thinking skills to conceive contemporary art projects

  • Acquire research methods and strategies for developing projects

  • Incorporate various media like images, sound, video to create tailored audience experiences

  • Assess media influences and learn to navigate different languages in artistic production and dissemination

Who's it for?

Multidisciplinary artists, photographers, video makers, and collage artists who are proficient in English and have experience with photography and visual language.
