In the second edition of Entering the Arts series, artists will learn about the required business skills needed to navigate the art world. This seminar covers:

• Identifying professional goals

• Budgeting

• Identifying financial objectives

• Creating structure

• Networking

Note: 

• Workshop registration is done in person at the Hall, 30 minutes prior to the start of the workshop.
• This session is part of a 12-month series of seminars is a tailored course for beginner to emerging artists who are serious about taking a more professional approach to their practice. From creating clear career objectives, through writing artist bios, and how to guide for residency applications, this series is designed to improve the practical skill sets of the course participants. The sessions can be accessed as one-offs or as consecutive seminars.
