Artist collective Lab212 Nicolas Guichard and Béatrice Lartigue from “Tales of Nostalgia” lead participants through an exploration in manipulating light to discover its expressive properties in space: 

• Intensity/focus (flashlight, lenses: position, orientation…)

• Color (colored gelatins: pure color, intermediate color…)

• Shadows (objects/drawings in front of the light)

• Reflection/diffraction (mirror, prism: shape, direction…)

• Rays (smoke: materiality…)

Note: Workshop registration is done in person at the Hall, 30 minutes prior to the start of the workshop.
