Interwoven Poetry

Audiences will combine the Masaha Residency's theme of along with textiles/writing through using “poetry” combined with creating a circle and randomly passing balls of yarn. Creating a “spider web” and each person the ball lands with will have to answer the question of the round.

Beyond Borders: Art Practices from the Caribbean and Central America

the Caribbean with the other residents' practices.

Shadow Play

Audiences will be asked to join the resident for an interactive activity integrating shadow and light. Using a projector, you will be asked to trace each other's shadows on a two-dimensional plane; creating a symbolic relationship between the body as a home or place.
