Social Sustainability: Imaging Impact

During Misk Art Week 2020, we asked researchers to contribute by writing about an underrated and under-researched field "Social Sustainability"; the process for creating sustainable, successful places that promote wellbeing, and which contributes to the revitalization of the economy and its territories. 

The effect of the arts, design, and the visual world have impacts on our culture, society, and lived experience. But what impacts the visual? What is the relationship, in all of its complexity, between the visual and the physical? Or between the aesthetic and the emotional?

This talk will feature the contributing writers as they present abstracts of their papers. The panel will end with a Q&A seesion.
