Maryam Tariq is a Saudi artist born on the Red Sea coast of Yanbu, currently based in Jeddah. In 2020, Tariq graduated from Effat University in Jeddah with a B.A. in Visual and Digital Production. Her artistic career centres on using technology to translate her visions and imaginations to the public. Through LED lights and 3D mapping, Tariq has developed interactive experiences for multiple music festivals and has collaborated with music producers and DJs such as Saudi artist and DJ DesertF!sh (Nasser AlShemimry). Tariq's work aims to highlight the consequences of climate change by raising awareness about the impact of environmental degradation through immersive experiences creating a portal to another realm, a glimpse into a future memory. 

In 2020, Tariq established Golden Ratio, a company with her husband and collaborator, Waleed Hassan. Together the duo translate Maryam's vision to the digital screen. Maryam Tariq had her first solo show titled Remembering the Future at Hafez Gallery, Saudi Arabia (2021).
