Abeer Sultan is a visual artist whose work focuses on using sensory experiences, audio-visual installations, interactive websites, graphics, and publications. In 2021, she graduated with a B.A. in Graphic Design and Digital Media from Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and worked as an art and production assistant for Saudi artist Basmah Felemban.
In 2020, Sultan won the Red Sea International Film Fest’s 48HR Film Challenge with a short film, Helm Alghobar. A year later, she worked on Durra—in collaboration with Sawt Asura Archive—to take users on an interactive audio-visual experience of Saudi women’s vocal and lyrical heritage.
