Held annually since 1985, Al Janadriya Festival welcomes over a million visitors a year. A celebration of culture and heritage, the two-week event is dedicated to preserving the kingdom’s national heritage. Taking place across two weeks, usually in the Spring, the festival embraces all aspects of Saudi tradition and culture including tradition art, crafts and music.

Misk Art Institute contributed to the Misk Foundation pavilion with an exhibition of Saudi artists, as well as live art performances, artist talks, and workshops.

The exhibition presented 14 artists, including six innovative graffiti works, and five live performances. The artist’s works were seen by 89,000 visitors, including HRH King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, as well as ministers, diplomats and intellectuals. Alongside the art exhibitions, a series of art talks were open platforms for artists to engage in discussions with the public.
