The Curatorial Collective Course will take a detailed look into the fundamental steps of constructing an exhibition. Practical emphasis will be given to exploring the various career paths of a curator from an institutional to a non-institutional model.
The six-week course is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical.

Five applicants will be selected to participate in the course and one of the participants’ proposals will be realized in a space in Saudi Arabia.

Who is the Curatorial Collective Course for?
The course is designed for up-and-coming curators who wish to further their career and knowledge by participating in a rigorous six-week journey into the multifaceted world of curation. Applicants are expected to have excellent writing skills and, though it is not required, it is preferable to have some exhibition making experience.
What is expected from participants?
Participants are expected to commit to the full six-week course and participate in all the sessions. They are also required to follow up on the weekly reading lists and to continuously develop their exhibition proposal throughout the period of the course.
