Misk Art Institute has partnered with the Misk Fellowship and Traineeship team to offer internship opportunities for young Saudis at La Biennale di Venezia.

Emerging arts and architecture professionals will spend two weeks in Venice staffing the Saudi National Pavilion at La Biennale di Venezia.

Selected interns act as custodians and docents of the National Pavilion, where they will get a hands-on experience overseeing the daily operations of the exhibition.

The program was open to nationals and residents of Saudi Arabia aged 21 and above, with an interest or background in arts and architecture.

To foster cultural exchange and enhance the Saudi interns’ local experience in Venice, Italy, interns selected from the prestigious Ca’Foscari and IUAV universities worked side-by-side with their Saudi Arabian counterparts at the pavilion. This allowed for further engagement with Italian customs, language, knowledge and culture.

The Internship Program was open to Italian students of Arabic & Middle Eastern Studies, Art and Architecture. The chosen interns worked alongside the Saudi Arabian interns to manage the Pavilion.
