An international residency program dedicated to artistic exchange.

The Argentina Residency Program is one of Misk Art Institute's international residencies dedicated to artistic exchange.

For eight weeks, the residency will give artists an enriching experience acting as a node of connection with the local Argentinian scene leading to new directions and generating links that go beyond the residency. Creatives will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a diverse program featuring workshops, masterclasses, talks, mentorship sessions, studio visits, and cultural trips.

Useful Information

The residency is designed to:

  • Bring new perspectives to the work of the residents.

  • Connect residents with the local art scene and the local context.

  • Build an enriching environment and relationships that go beyond the residency.

  • Individual and group virtual meetings before the trip.

  • Weekly group meetings with the residency director and guest curators.

  • Individual sessions with the residency director and guest curators to guide the research and creative process.

  • Studio visits with special guests combined with informal breakfast, lunches, or dinners.

  • Visits to museums, galleries, artists run projects, and artists’ studios.

  • A two-week visit to a residency in the countryside.

  • A public presentation/showcase.
