Calligraffiti

Explore the world of Calligrafitti and learn how to write your name using this method.

Level: All levels are welcome, ages 18+

This virtual workshop will go over the origin, history, and application of the art of calligraphy, the forms of calligraphy, and the proper tools used for calligraphy. We will then go over the techniques of the different types of calligraffiti and hand lettering before reviewing examples of well-known International Calligraffiti writers. Afterwards, we will practice on printed templets, then participants will be guided in writing their own names and exploring their own style in Calligrafitti typeface.

Required materials:

• A3/A4 watercolor 140 lb Medium thickness (10 individual sheets of paper)
• Watercolors tube set
• Pallete - 3 sizes of flat, slanted brushes
• Pencil
• Ruler
