In the first of two writing focused workshops designed for artists entering the artworld, participants will learn how to differentiate writing styles for varying types of artist statements and how to distinguish between a statement and a biography. 

Notes:

• Workshop registration is done in person at the Hall, 30 minutes prior to the start of the workshop.

• This session is part of a 12-month series of seminars is a tailored course for beginner to emerging artists who are serious about taking a more professional approach to their practice. From creating clear career objectives, through writing artist bios, and how to guide for residency applications, this series is designed to improve the practical skill sets of the course participants.
