Micro-Residency: Silkscreen Showcase

Misk Art Institute invited six Saudi artists to spend four intensive weeks focusing on contemporary and traditional printmaking at the Institute’s screen-printing facility at Masaha, Prince Faisal bin Fahd Arts Hall in Riyadh.

The artists spent their time immersing themselves in the conceptual thinking approach required for art making in this medium. With the support of an expert team of in-house printmakers, each resident was provided curatorial and production support throughout the residency alongside access to Misk Art Institute's screen-printing facility and private studio spaces to produce a new series of artworks.
