Lulwah Al-Homoud is an award winning artist for fostering cultural relations between between Saudi Arabia and United Kingdom 2020.

The first Saudi to acclaim MA from Central Saint Martins, 2000, College of Art and Design, London. Her Area of research is Arab calligraphy and Islamic geometry.

Earlier in 1996, she finished a BA in visual communication and design with Cum Laude. She Developed a personal approach emerging calligraphy and geometry and based her early work on mathematical concept. Her work is currently illustrated and taught as part of the GCSE (year 9) of the Saudi Curriculum. Al-Homoud represented Saudi Arabia at the exhibition titled, Artificial Intelligence and Intercultural Dialogue", at the Hermitage Museum in Russia 2019 and in London design Biennal in 2018.

Her work was exhibited and acquired by international museums, namely, The British Museum, LACMA ( Los Angles Country Museum of Art), Jeju Museum of modern and in Korea, Five Continent Museum in Munich, Germany and The Green Box Museum in Holland. The only artist from the Middle East in the inauguration exhibition that included 36 renowned international artists at Jeju Museum of Modern Art Korea 2009. Her work was exhibited in prestigious institutes around the world in Russia, China, USA, Europe and the Middle East. Between 2005 and 2008, she worked as a creative director.

She was also designed many logos including The Saudi Arabian Pavilion Logo and 118 calligraphic wall panels in the Saudi Pavilion, World Expo, Shanghai 2010. She was invited and participated in the 300 years anniversary of Meissen with international contemporary artist in Germany. Al-Homoud worked with British Museum in 2007 to introduce Arabic/Islamic art and design to British GCC students. A curator of international exhibitions since 1999, including Master Strokes, London 2003 at October Gallery. Nabbatt: a sense of being, Duolun Musuen, Shanghai 2010 and Beirut 2010. She works with major museums in the region as an art consultant. She is currently a member of board directors of the Art and Design Association in Saudi Arabia.
